All advice and information on this Website is written as a general guide for the families of Women and families who have received a poor diagnosis in pregnancy, or the Mother has a health issue that puts her life or her baby’s life at risk, in Australia and the health professionals and hospitals that care for them. The information is given in good faith and is based on sources believed to be reliable and accurate at the time of release. Harrison’s Little Wings Inc regularly reviews the information on this Website; however, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, quality, suitability or reliability of the information on our website or any consequences arising from its use.

Editorial Process
Harrison’s Little Wings Inc publishes a wide variety of information in print and electronic form. The importance of editorial rigour for medical information cannot be overstated. Content is developed and managed by Harrison’s Little Wings Inc; working closely with consumers, and qualified professionals in the field of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Genetics, and Neonatology for use by Australian families and their health professionals.
The principal author of information about the Organisation, its staff and its activities is the Online Resource Manager, who has day-to-day responsibility for management of the website.
Where information is of a clinical nature, the Organisation; Medical Advisory Committee is consulted and approval sought before final authorisation by the Chief Executive Officer Melanie McKenzie. The health information presented such as guidelines and educational materials are based on current medical knowledge and practice as at the date of publication.
Regularly changing information, such as home page teasers, staff contact details, calendars of events, dates for professional education and training programs which are reviewed and updated whenever the need arises (usually weekly or more often).
Internal and external links are checked monthly.
Periodic reviews of the clinical content are scheduled to occur annually, but may be reviewed more regularly as the need arises.

This site is solely funded by Harrison’s Little Wings Inc. Harrison’s Little Wings Inc is recognised by the Australian Tax Office as a not-for-profit organisation. Like most other major not for profit organisations funds for activities are obtained from a spectrum sources. For Harrison’s Little Wings Inc donors include private individuals, commercial organisations, philanthropic organisations and other charities. Some donors however, specifically request anonymity as a condition of donating funds to the Organisation. For this reason, individual details of donors (private or commercial) are not routinely made public.
Harrison’s Little Wings Inc is a registered fundraiser and as such may conduct fundraising activities such as events, sponsored activities and merchandise sales. Harrison’s Little Wings Inc Shop is managed solely by Harrison’s Little Wings Inc and provides an online e-commerce facility using EWay. Resources available for sale include books, clothing, branded merchandise; any funds generated through sales will contribute towards Harrison’s Little Wings Inc funding sources.
The Board members of Harrison’s Little Wings Inc provide their time and expertise on an entirely voluntary basis and receive no fees, salaries or benefits for the work they undertake for the Organisations Board.
Harrison’s Little Wings Inc website does not receive any funding from advertising products or services of others and the Foundation does not accept paid advertisements on its website. Information is made available on this Website with the primary objective of providing a helpful service to users of that information and not to promote the interests of any person or organisation who may financially benefit as a result of information placed on the Website.
