We currently require the following positions:
We are expanding our Fundraising Volunteer Team. We are seeking people that are passionate about our service, who are creative, and love to think out of the box for raising money.
We are also seeking a grant writer. Previous experience would be advantageous, but not required.
Hospital Liaison Officers
We are seeking Mum’s or Dads who have been through a poor or fatal diagnosis during pregnancy or had a health issue that put theirs or their baby’s life at risk during pregnancy, to take on a liaison role with their local hospital. We are especially looking for a Hospital Liaison Officer for Townsville to join our team.
Drop Off Volunteers
At times we may seek donations for projects that we may be running. We have reached out to our amazing community to seek help providing items for our Emergency Toiletry Packs.
We are seeking people to kindly help by offering to have their house, or work place as a drop off point, and then deliver it to Harrison’s Little Wings. Locations on the north side of Brisbane and the Gold Coast would work well.
Other Volunteering Opportunities
Would you like to volunteer for Harrison’s Little Wings? It doesn’t matter if you have a little time or a lot. We have a broad range of volunteer positions available: pamphlet writing, sourcing products and contacts, sending emails, sharing our posts on facebook, promoting and advertising our events via posters in your staff lunch room, helping with event set up, selling raffle tickets or office admin.
Some positions allow you to work as a volunteer from home. Our volunteer group coordinator will send a blanket email with requests and you can commit to as much or as little as your time allows.
I first started volunteering because it was extremely helpful to have people around me that understood my loss and the journey I was on and I wanted to be able to help other women and their families who had experienced something similar.
