As Harrison’s Little Wings is a Not For Profit Organisation, we rely heavily on sponsors and donations to deliver and ultimately achieve our goal of providing our services beyond Queensland, to all families affected by poor or fatal pregnancy diagnoses.
Just $15 can provide a Precious Pregnancy Pack, bringing support and comfort to a family facing difficult decisions. Counselling and practical support in the way of household help can the support a family needs to help them through isolating, sad and lonely times.
We are also currently raising money for our Precious Pregnancy Emergency Toiletry Bag Appeal.
Often the women we support are transferred to a tertiary hospital that has the appropriate medical staff to care for the women and her baby. This forces some women to travel hours to an appointment. Often women go to one of their appointments and due to complications are then admitted unexpectedly into the hospital. Sometimes they may have to wait days before family or a friend can visit due to distance, leaving them without the basic essential toiletries. We are grateful for donations but please be mindful that our toiletry bags are not large so would appreciate travel size items where possible.
We are seeking:
- Soap
- Deodorant (roll on)
- Maternity pads
- Brush
- Tooth paste (small tube)
- Tooth brush
- Shampoo and Conditioner (travel bottles are best suited)
- Underwear of various sizes, these must be donated in their original packaging.
