If you have received a poor or fatal diagnosis in your pregnancy, the uncertainty for you and your family is huge. It can cause you to feel isolated, powerless, angry, and experience overwhelming sadness and grief.
We provide a selection of wrap around services to help you on this journey.
Patient Referral
This list of poor or fatal pregnancy diagnoses will give you an idea of those Harrison’s Little Wings supports.
- Trisomy 18/13/21
- Congenial abnormalities such as Diaphragmatic Hernia, Spina Bifida and TMFR
(Interruption of Pregnancy for Fetal Abnormalities) - Palliative care for newborn
- High risk of pre-term birth such as issues regarding cervical cerclage
- aqueduct stenosis
- NEC
- Spina Bifida Anencephaly
- Thanataphoric Dysplasia
- Dandy walker Malformation
- Micrognathia
- CHD
- Unbalanced Translocation
- Thanatophoric Dysplasia
- Edward’s syndrome
- Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE)
- Hydrops
- Women’s illness – lupus anticoagulant
If you have not been referred by your health care team, and you are making initial contact with us, we kindly ask you to fill out our application form and we do ask that you get any member of your health care team to fill out our referral form this could be your GP, midwife, Obstetrician, or Social Worker. They can fill out our eform or email our office at melanie@harrisonslittlewings.org.au.

Accessing our support services is a simple two-step process:
Have a member of your health care team (GP, midwife etc) complete the Patient Referral Form found here.
Fill out the Family Information/Consent Form. The form is available to complete online here or download the pdf for completion.
Our Services
We have several support options in place as we know that each family is unique. We encourage you to choose the support you need. Families are welcome to receive any or all of our available support options.
