City of Logan Volunteer Awards 2021
Charis Mullen – State Member for Jordan and Melanie Harrison – Founder & Director of Harrison’s Little Wings.
What an amazing morning enjoyed at the City of Logan Volunteer Awards !!!
Harrison’s Little Wings was nominated for Volunteer Organisation and we had two volunteers nominated for City of Logan Frank Lenz Memoraial Award for Volunteer of the year, Sharon Cox and Melanie McKenzie. Sharon works on Harrison’s website and does all things technical. She is an amazing asset to our organisation and we thank her for all her hard work.
Most of you know our Founder and Director Melanie McKenzie, who works tirelessly with Harrison’s. She runs the peer support, supports families with practical support and over sees the daily running of the organisation. We were thrilled Melanie McKenzie received the inaugural ‘Spirit of Logan’ Award. We want to say a very big thank you to Logan City Council for this amazing award, and we would also like to say thank you to Cameron Dick MP, Charis Mullen MP – State Member for Jordan and Natalie Willcocks Councillor for Division 11. We really appreciate your support.
Harrison’s Little Wings was nominated for Outstanding Community Organisation at City of Logan Volunteer Awards.
